For most models of JVC Camcorder we have a range of batteries in different capacities which are suitable. Camcorders are usually supplied with a low capacity standard battery which does not have a very long run time. Unless the battery fits inside a battery compartment on your camcorder you can usually use a higher capacity battery which will have a longer run time between charges. These batteries are thicker than the standard battery but can last several times as long as the standard battery between charges. If you check the user guide for your camcorder you will find details of the different types of battery which are compatible. If you are unsure please contact us by phone or e-mail for assistance.

We do not list battery run times by our batteries as these can vary widely between one camcorder and another. Run time is also affected by the use of features such as the Zoom, LCD screen, Spotlight, Night vision etc...

JVC Camcorder Batteries

New models of camcorder are released regularly, but many models use the same battery as other models. It is the Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) battery part code that is most important in determining the correct replacement battery match for your camcorder. Therefore, if you do not find your exact model of camcorder in our listings then check the model number of your existing battery, and/or the manual for higher capacity altetnatives and you will almost certainly find an equivalent. If you are still unsure then do not hesitate to e-mail or call us for advice.
