Please note that these batteries are supplied with a small lead which must be connected between the battery and the DC input on the camcorder. This lead is required as there is a chip in the camcorder which communicates with the battery, this chip prevents the use of non-genuine batteries, the lead overrides this chip and enables the use of our batteries. These batteries do not support the data battery function of the original batteries which displays remaining battery run time.
