Camcorders are usually supplied with a low capacity
standard battery which does not have a very long run
time. Unless the battery fits inside a battery
compartment on your camcorder you can usually use a
higher capacity battery, this will have a longer
run time between charges. These batteries are thicker
than the standard battery but can last several times
as long as the standard battery. If you check
the user guide for your camcorder you will find details
of the different types of battery which are compatible.
