We are a registered supplier on the ProcServe Trading Network. The ProcServe Trading Network is an online collaborative procurement system that allows organisations to trade with each other online through a controlled, secure, common setup. For those customers who are currently part of the ProcServe Trading Network, we are set up for free text orders so you can start transacting with us now.

We are also registered with the xchangewales eTrading system which is designed to provide e-Procurement capabilities throughout the Welsh Public Sector.

We also accept Purchase Orders from Schools, Colleges, Universities etc... Please e-mail or post these including the following information:

Order details, products, quantities etc...
Contact name, e-mail address, telephone number.
Delivery address.
Invoice address (if different).
Your order reference number (where necessary)

Goods will be sent on receipt of the Purchase Order with payment information which can be via Cheque or BACS.

Delivery and VAT

The price you see is the price you pay, UK delivery and VAT included. Guaranteed Next day delivery is normally available on request for orders placed before 3PM (Mon-Thurs) at the following rates:

£5 per order for batteries and chargers
£10 per item for Kelly Kettles

Please e-mail us or phone for availablility. Royal Mail now offer guaranteed delivery on Saturday which now costs £9 for a battery and £10 for a charger.

We aim to dispatch all orders received before 3PM on the same day (Monday-Friday).

Orders placed over the weekend are sent on Monday, Bank Holiday weekend orders are sent on Tuesday. Standard delivery is by Royal Mail which can take 2-3 working days. If you need an item urgently please contact us regarding guaranteed next day delivery. Please be aware that in the build up to busy times such as Christmas and in the aftermath of Bank Holidays, deliveries can take a day or two longer than normal. Please ensure you provide us with the correct address details for delivery, incorrect details can cause delays and/or lost parcels.

Overseas Delivery

Some items, eg. Kelly Kettles are only available to customers in the UK. We ship batteries thoughout most of Europe at a flat rate cost of £1.99 for mobile phone batteries, £2.99 for camera and camcorder batteries and £4.99 for battery chargers. Delivery costs for other items will be quoted individually as will multiple orders.

We also post to Australia and New Zealand, please enquire for delivery charges. At our discretion we may only ship high value orders by signed for delivery which will incur a higher delivery charge. We may cancel and refund orders to other countries at our discretion on account of previous problems we have had with shipping to some parts of the world.

Please note that for insurance reasons we are unable to deliver to or accept orders from the USA.

Stock

We update the website daily with the latest stock information. Products which are out of stock and not expected back in stock within 1 week will be listed as out of stock, If an item displays the Green tick icon you can be 99% certain that it is in stock and available. We have a network of suppliers to call on if we run out of an item. If we unexpectedly sell out of an item and are unable to source and despatch it within 1 week we will contact you with an estimated time of delivery to see if you are happy to wait or would prefer a full refund.

Customer Data

We guarantee that we will not disclose any customer information of any nature to any third party for any purpose. We store order information for warranty purposes and will only use contact information to contact you ourselves. If you would prefer that we do not contact you via e-mail, all correspondance (which is not order related) from ourselves contains an "unsubscribe" feature which allows you to delete your contact details from our database.

Returns

When returning goods please include a covering letter stating:

1. Order ID Number. (8 Digit number which can be found on the invoice which is e-mailed to you at point of purchase, if this is not available please e-mail enquiries@mailorderbatteries.com with your name and address requesting your Order ID no.)

2. Your name and address. (Include delivery address if different)

3. Description of the reason for return.

Please ensure the above information is included with all returns, neglecting to do so can prevent these from being processed.

When returning goods please ensure that the correct postage is attached, noting that with Royal Mail's charging system a first class stamp is no longer enough postage for returning a battery.

Please make sure parcels are adequately protected for transportation as we cannot be held responsible for loss or damage to goods in transit being sent to us by a third party. Please also remember to ask for a Proof of Postage certificate from the Post Office when returning goods. This is for your own security and insurance against items lost in transit. We can not accept responsibility for any product(s) lost in transit.

Terms and Conditions

In placing an order with Mail Order Batteries Ltd either via the website or telephone you accept the following terms and conditions.We offer a refund on goods (excluding all return postage charges) which are returned to us in perfect condition and  in their original packaging within 14 days of purchase if you are not fully satisfied with our products. The cost of return postage in this instance is the responsibility of the consumer.

Once an order has been sent it is not possible to cancel the order for a refund until the goods have been returned. Goods "lost in transit" is not a valid reason to cancel an order. Although the majority of our orders are received within 2-3 working days, on rare occasions mail can be held up in the Royal Mail system so don't panic if you haven't received your goods after 4-5 working days. Royal Mail will not consider an item to be lost in transit until 15 working days after the sending date, please notify us if you haven't received your goods one week after the order date. Please ensure that the address details you provide when ordering are 100% correct. We cannot be held responsible for goods which do not arrive due to incorrectly supplied address details. Please notify us immediately if you experience any problems with our products. If we are unable to fulfil an order owing to stock issues we will give you an estimated time of delivery or offer a full refund.On international deliveries any import duty or sales tax is the customers responsibility. All postal items may be examined by Customs, but normally letters, packets containing documents or similar forms of correspondence are excluded, as are items addressed to EU countries. We reserve the right not to supply and in cases where we chose not to do so a full refund will be given.

Items which are returned for a refund or exchange should be in the same condition and packaging in which they were supplied.

The nature of some electrical devices requires that the device may need to be partially dismantled to change the battery. We do not accept any liability for damage which may be caused in the fitting of batteries sold by us. If you are at all unsure about the manner in which to replace a battery we recommend that you consult the instruction manual for the product or seek advice from a specialist (eg. an electrical retailer) or otherwise competent person.

Please refer to the instruction manual for your equipment to ensure that the battery or charger you purchase from us is compatible. In some instances the charger supplied with some models of camcorder may only be suitable for use with NiCad batteries and using this type of charger with the modern NiMh replacements is potentailly dangerous. If you are at all unsure do not hesitate to contact us.
