and Conditions
In
placing an order with Mail Order Batteries Ltd either
via the website or telephone you accept the following
terms and conditions.
We
offer a refund on goods (excluding all return postage
charges) which are returned to us in perfect condition
and in their original packaging within 14 days
of purchase if you are not fully satisfied with our
products. The cost of return postage is the responsibility
of the consumer.
Unless otherwise stated all of the batteries and chargers
we sell are compatible products made by third party
manufacturers NOT original manufacturers equipment
(OEM). Whilst this is not specifically stated on every
page of the website, In ordering any products from
us you accept that this is the case.
We
can only accept a claim for an order being lost in
transit if you notify us that the goods have not been
received within 14 days of being dispatched. The dispatch
date would be assumed to be two working days after
the order was placed.
We
cannot accept a claim for goods that are lost in transit
until 10 working days after the date of dispatch.
Once an order has been sent it is not possible to
cancel the order for a refund until the goods have
been returned. Goods "lost in transit" is
not a valid reason to cancel an order.
Please
ensure that the address details you provide when ordering
are 100% correct. We cannot be held responsible for
goods which do not arrive due to incorrectly supplied
address details.
Please
notify us immediately if you experience any problems
with our products.
If
we are unable to fulfil an order owing to stock issues
we will give you an estimated time of delivery or
offer a full refund.
Our
liability is limited to the value of products supplied
by us.
Faulty
goods will be exchanged, repaired or refunded at our
discretion within the guarantee period, 24 months
for rechargeable camera and camcorder batteries, 12
months on all other products.
On
international deliveries any import duty or sales
tax is the customers responsibility.
All
postal items may be examined by Customs, but normally
letters, packets containing documents or similar forms
of correspondence are excluded, as are items addressed
to EU countries.
We
reserve the right not to supply and in cases where
we chose not to do so a full refund will be given.
We reserve the right to charge a restocking fee of
5% in cases when orders are cancelled without reason
prior to delivery owing to the cost payment and refund
processing.
The
nature of some electrical devices requires that the
device may need to be partially dismantled to change
the battery. We do not accept any liability for damage
which may be caused in the fitting of batteries sold
by us. If you are at all unsure about the manner in
which to replace a battery we recommend that you seek
advice from a specialist (eg. an electrical retailer)
or otherwise competent person. Our liability in all
cases remains limited to the value of goods supplied
by us.

but cannot guarantee that the information contained
within is 100% correct. This includes information
on pricing, product compatibility and specific product
specification. Therefore we reserve the right to correct
any errors as and when they arise, this includes orders
which have already been processed by our website.
The images on our website are for reference only,
some products such as camcorder and camera battery
chargers show a generic charger as the same type is
used for each with a slight variation in the charger
plate, due to the high turnover of stock the actual
batteries received may vary from those illustrated.
The brand of battery you receive may not be specifically
the brand illustrated but the spec will be equivalent.
The batteries supplied by our Company are non-original
replacements and any reference to products or trademarks
of the manufacturers of original equipment is purely
for the purpose of identifying the models with which
our products are compatible. Our Company and this
Web site are neither affiliated with, authorized by,
licensed by, distributors for, nor related in any
way to these manufacturers, nor are the products offered
for sale through our web site manufactured by or sold
with the authorization of those manufacturers of equipment
with which our products are compatible.
